Andrew Shapter (Director, Before the Music Dies) Andrew Shapter is an award-winning photographer, well known in the US and internationally. His assignments with the music world in the past 15 years have included everything from major labels to MTV. After years of working in music, Shapter began to understand the increasing struggle musicians faced while maintaining their careers. Shapter has turned his lens on the industry itself in this groundbreaking examination of the current state, as well as the future, of the music industry. Before the Music Dies promises to be only the first of many films for this director.

Corey Llewellyn (Co-Founder, DigiWaxx) With over eight years of promotion and marketing experience, Corey "CL" Llewellyn is one of the youngest, most seasoned music executives. Starting his career at Sony Music, he went on to become the Director of A&R for Sony's Crave Records. Several years later, he ran the radio promotion department for Cornerstone Promotion and initiated the "DJ Revolution" across the country. Corey co-created the legendary 1200 Squad and Fader Magazine for Cornerstone and worked with corporate clients ranging grom Nike to Coca-Cola. Using his experiences and foresight, he became an instrumental factor in changing independent music promotion and marketing forever. Maurice Harley (Marketing, Universal Records) Maurice Harley is a Regional Rep for Universal Records. He has been in the music industry for over a decade, and has held positions at Def Jam, Tommy Boy, Priority, and J Records. Nan Warshaw (Founder, Bloodshot Records) A graduate of Columbia College, Nan Warshaw co-founded Bloodshot Records in 1994. Slogging away at this scrappy indie label has allowed Nan to work with the bands she loves. Prior to Bloodshot, Nan was a DJ at punk rock clubs and college radio, an independent publicist, a bartender, a club buyer and indie booking agent.

Syas has performed both nationally and internationally, gaining worldwide notoriety in a relatively short period of time. His talent as one of Chicagos top producers, remixers, promoters and DJs has been embraced from the United States to Europe. Recently, Skip has performed & worked worldwide with the likes of Jazzy Jeff, R. Kelly, Fantasia, Mario, Craig David, Daft Punk, and Jam Master Jay just to name a few. Syas also co-owns S&S Records with Steve "Silk" Hurley Steve "Silk" Hurley (Grammy Nominated Producer & Co-Owner, S&S Records) Chicago-based producer / remixer / songwriter / DJ, and now four-time Grammy Nominee Steve "Silk" Hurley has more than proven in his 15-year plus career that he is a musical force to be reckoned with. He is considered one of the nation's top remixers, evident in some of his most prized works, including the Grammy-Nominated remix of Brandy's "What About Us". Hurley has also had a pivotal hand in the success of many artists with his writing & production on such projects as Ce Ce Peniston's "We Got a Love Thang", Tanya Blount's "I'm Gonna Make you Mine", and Chantay Savage's "I Will Survive". Hurley also co-owns S&S Records with Shannon "Skip" Syas. Dan Duszynski (Singer/Songwriter, This Is Me Smiling) Daniel P. Duszynski (born October 26, 1984) is an American musician and record producer from Chicago, Illinois best known as the guitarist and lead singer for the power-pop band This Is Me Smiling. Since This Is Me Smiling's debut, Duszynski has become a producer as well, doing production and engineering work on several successful albums including Hawthorne Heights' The Silence In Black And White and The Hush Sound's Like Vines.

Sean O'Keefe (Record Producer/Engineer/Mixer) Sean O'keefe produced gold records for Fall Out Boy and Hawthorne Heights before the age of 24. After spending a year playing drums and touring with the band This Is Me Smiling, he returned to working full-time as a producer, producing Plain White T's, The Hush Sound, and new tracks for the forthcoming Von Bondies album on Sire/WB. Kosine on Da Beat (Hip-Hop Producer) A graduate and current professor at Columbia College, Kosine has crafted countless tracks for such notables as R. Kelly, Static, Lil Wayne, Field Mob, Glenn Lewis, Farnsworth Bentley, and rap legend The Notorious B.I.G. Sherry Amour (R&B Singer) Sherry Amour is a talented R&B songstress and recent graduate of Columbia College. She has performed at such prestigious venues as the infamous Hot House, The Funky Buddha Lounge, and Buddy Guy's Legends Club, as well as seen the successful release of her first EP Seasons. Big Pooh (Of Hip-Hop Duo "Little Brother") Big Pooh, along with fellow rap artist Phonte, is a member of the acclaimed North Carolina hip hop group Little Brother.
